Scope of Care

Lumen Health provides telehealth consultation only and does not provide emergency services. Consults are available only when you are physically located in the State of North Carolina at the time of your appointment.


Controlled substances will not be prescribed through Lumen Health. Medicolegal evaluations will not be provided by Lumen Health.

Telehealth Limitations

Recommendations are limited based on the information you provide and available data remotely. For your physician to have the information needed to provide assessment and plans, all required intake forms must be completed and electronically signed before your appointment.

Communication

For privacy, health information will not be sent by email or text. All non-scheduling communication occurs through secure messaging. We are committed to making our website and services accessible to all clients.

Payment & Insurance

Payment is due at booking. Lumen Health does not bill insurance. A receipt is provided for HSA/FSA use if requested, although reimbursement is not guaranteed.
